Residents used a curtain to catch a boy falling from the first floor of a building in northern China.

The video, filmed in the city of Shijiazhuang in Hebei Province on July 13, shows a boy hanging from the first-floor window of a building and 12 residents holding a curtain under the building to try to catch him.

After the boy fell down, the residents caught him on the curtain successfully.

According to reports, the boy woke up before his mother and climbed out onto the window sill. Since it did not have security bars outside the window, the boy climbed out of the window and fell down.

Fortunately, the boy was not injured. The video was provided by local media with permission.

有一名男童双手紧紧扒在2楼窗户外，

情况危急，

所幸的是被12名市民齐心撑窗帘救下。

记者得讯后，立即赶往现场。

记者从附近居民处了解到，

14时许，孩子在卧室随其妈妈午休，

孩子提前醒来，爬到窗户上，打开纱窗，

由于窗户外没有安装护栏，

这才导致孩子翻出窗户外，

幸运的是孩子被齐心救下。

记者从市民提供的视频中看到，

一名男童身体悬空在2楼窗户外，

双手紧扒铁栏杆，

右腿搭在狭窄的窗沿上，

众人撑起窗帘，

一瞬间接住了坠落的男童，

男童瞬间发出“哇哇”的哭声，

路过救人的一名男子将男童抱入怀中细心安抚。

目击者表示，孩子心理素质好，是这次救援成功的关键，接住孩子的那一刻，所有人都舒了一口气，孩子的妈妈急坏了，抱着孩子哭了半个小时，所幸的是孩子安然无恙。（视频由河北台提供）
