Child sneaks off with bag of ornaments worth $5,367 from venue in central India
Conducting heists using children has become quite common in central India's Madhya Pradesh on July 10. The incident took place in Gwalior.
CCTV footage features the groom's mother leaving her bag full of jewellery unattended while going for a photo session with the couple on the stage. Within a few seconds, a boy dressed in classy attire swings into action to make his first move. He then swiftly grabs the bag and walks away unnoticed despite a crowd at the wedding venue during the night. Meanwhile, the rest remain unaware and clueless of the heist.
During the wedding celebrations, Armaan's mother approached the stage to get a photo clicked with the couple after placing the bag on a sofa near the platform. However, the little kid quickly reached out to the bag full of jewellery worth Rs. 4 lakh (USD 5,367), including cash, after noticing his surroundings and vanished from the scene with a suspicious man in a car, leaving the groom's mother in a state of shock afterward.
The family then lodged a complaint at the Jhansi Road Police Station while the cops have not been able to get any clue regarding the child or the man he left with after executing the perfect crime.
