People continue to leave hundreds of supportive notes, pictures, drawings, flowers, flags and anti racist messages at the mural of Manchester United footballer Marcus Rashford in Manchester, United Kingdom, The mural was vandalised with abusive graffiti after England's Euro2020 football loss on July 11th, 2021, when Marcus Rashford missed a penalty, and repaired by street artist Akse P19. Messages of support and gifts left will be preserved. Ed Wellard, co-founder of Withington Walls, which commissioned the mural, said the material would be "retained, recorded and if possible displayed".
