Moment French surfer abandoned board and skimmed along water in giant SUMO SUIT
This incredible footage shows the moment a surfer abandoned his board and skimmed along the waters surface in a giant inflatable SUMO SUIT!
Guillaume Mangiarotti was filmed catching some waves in the waters off the coast of Hossegor, France while wearing a buoyant sumo wrestler suit.
As the wave picks up speed the surfer uses the momentum to leap from his board and into the rapid water below.
The 49-year-old who lives in Bayonne, France said:
“The name of the suit that is used in the video is Sumo and Splash Guard Combo.
“I hope everybody has a good laugh and wonders how the hell did they pull that trick off.
“I'm on the jet ski, Hermine my pilot is cruising down the wave and I just focus on following the rider, trying to make it as smooth as possible.
