Sannapatna is an area that is located close to the forest in Ramnagar District of Karnataka state. A female cheetah escaped from the forest and entered the human settlements. For the past three days this cheetah was giving nightmares to the residents of that area. Forest department staffs tried many methods to capture the cheetah but all failed. Then finally today they got a call stating that cheetah is hiding in the bushes close to a school campus. Then forest department came into action.
First they closed all the escape routes from the bush and they tried to clear the bush. Cheetah all of a sudden appeared from the bush and tried to attack the forest department staff. Then a vet doctor was ready with a tranquilizer. He shot accurately on the cheetah.
It lost its consciousness and fell in the bushes they it was carried to the nearby forest and released. People of that area rejoiced when the cheetah was caught. Forest staff said that the Cheetah is a female and it's five years old.
