Illegal weapons seized from goons get destroyed in central India
Police officials destroyed the weapons seized from the miscreants in the past years in central India's Madhya Pradesh on July 16. The incident took place in Sagar.
Visuals feature the officials tossing all the weapons into a pit in broad daylight while the others gather in the vicinity to help in the process. In the meantime, some firearms are kept on the ground in a line-like formation, following which the road roller runs over them, crushing all the guns beneath it while the police stand in proximity to supervise the activity.
Over 100 weapons confiscated from the culprits in the year 2020-21 were destroyed in the presence of several officers after receiving orders from the court. While some of the weapons were destroyed by the road roller, the others were demolished after throwing them in a 10-feet deep pit.
The pit was further covered with mud, calcium carbonate, and phosphate lime to deteriorate them. Besides, the incident took place under the supervision of Collector Akhilesh Jain, along with other officials.
