A monitor lizard was cut free from a net by a brave 8-year-old boy in Odisha, eastern India.

The boy in the Mayurbhanj district used a pair of scissors to cut the lizard from out of the fishing net.

After around 30 minutes, the lizard was successfully freed and the kid released it back into the wild.

One monitor lizard trapped under fishing net last 7 to 8 days in Sankerko village of Mayurbhanj district under eastern India. After information one 8 years child rescued the monitor lizard by cutting the fishing net with the help of scissor.

After half hour the child rescued the lizard and released it in his habitat.
