Driver crashes brand new car in dealer showroom, pummels from first floor ramp

In a bizarre accident, a customer sped his brand new car off of the ramp on the first floor of the dealer’s showroom and crashed into another car parked outside.

The incident took place on July 19 at the Tata Motors Select Cars showroom in India

Bhagwath B, a resident of Medipally, had just purchased the vehicle for Rs 6.4 lakhs.

Police inspector V Ashok Reddy said no one was luckily injured during the accident.

“The vehicle owner by mistake pressed the accelerator instead of the brakes. The vehicle owner has been charged under section 337 of the Indian Penal Code for causing hurt by negligently driving.”

The driver underwent treatment at a private hospital and is said to be out of danger.
