A policeman in Moscow ran head first into a metal post when chasing after a suspect who had made a break for it.

After stopping a group, one of the detainees darts off seeing an officer quickly chase after him.

The officer lost his balance after a few steps and collided with a nearby metal pole on July 20.

The video shows how the policeman invites the guy he stopped, whom he suspected of unlawful actions, to proceed to the "crime scene", removes the girl who is participating in the conversation, but who is behind the scenes - and at this moment the detainee breaks free and starts to run away.

Having pulled ahead and having some head start, he runs around the lamppost, while the law enforcement officer, due to his build and inertia of movement, does not have time to do this, as a result of which he hits this post with his head with a characteristic loud sound.

After suffering the shock, he tried to get up and continue the pursuit, but, apparently, the pawnbroker by this moment was far enough away from him.
