The place is Mina, Near the Holy City of Makkah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Muslims from all over the world gather in Mina to perform the annual pilgrimage, called Hajj. Generally, before COVID-19, nearly 3 million people gather here but last year and this year the numbers are very little. The Saudi Government allowed only 60 thousand people to perform the pilgrimage by observing strict social distancing and other Covid protocols.

There are three pillars on this place on which the pilgrims throw 7 stones each to follow the act of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) when he was about to sacrifice his son for Allah (God) and the devil tried to deviate him and he also threw pebbles on him.
