Japan's aerobatic team Blue Impulse were spotted soaring over Tokyo on July 23 just hours before the Olympic Games opening ceremony commences.

The pilots were also seen drawing the Olympic rings in the city's skyline.

This video was near Tokyo Sky Tree (you can see part of Tokyo Sky Tree at Time Code 1:06). Many of the residents in this area were on their balconies, rooftops, to watch Blue Impulse.
The jets were on their way to the National Stadium (Olympic Stadium) where they would skywrite the Olympic rings in the Tokyo skies!
