The lives of three people were dangling by a thread after floodwater entered their field in central India's Madhya Pradesh on July 22. The incident took place in a village in Sarni in the Betul district.

Visuals feature the cops, along with the locals, hatching a plan to rescue the stranded souls amid the flash floods. They further secure ropes from one side to the other while the three individuals wade their way through the waist-deep water to reach the mainland. However, the gushing stream of the river makes the process a bit difficult, but the villagers manage to save them.

Incessant rains triggered flash floods as the water level rose and entered the field where three villagers were working. The raging stream washed them over, following which they had to seek shelter on branches to save themselves. Fortunately, the cops were alerted, and they managed to rescue them with the help of locals by using thick ropes in 30 minutes. However, a team reached the spot upon receiving orders and would be rewarded for their efforts.
