A spine-chilling incident came to the fore in which a wildlife creature strayed itself into the human world in western India's Maharashtra on July 16. The incident took place in Bhandup.

Visuals feature the Indian rock python slithering in the narrow alley while the police constable named Murlidhar Jadhav grabs it by the tail and carries it away to avoid any mishap. He then confines the reptile inside a sack while some help in the process as the snake attempts to curl up in the air to free itself.

SARRP-INDIA has always been on the front foot when it came to rescuing these creatures from the suburban areas. It coordinates with the Maharashtra Forest Department to safely rescue and release these reptiles in their natural habitat. Moreover, with the arrival of the monsoon, these snakes have started to approach the residential areas to seek shelter.
