Lamb born with single eye is considered as a holy lamb in South India
Friday of Aadi Month (Tamil Month according to Tamil Calendar) is a very auspicious day for Tamil people. On this day a lamb is born with just one eye in Ariyalur district of Tamilnadu. It was like a Almighty God Sivan who has a third eye in his forehead. Likewise this lamb has also born with a single eye on forehead.
Hence the owner of the goat and the family believes it as a holy lamb. And they also believes that the birth of a lamb like this will bring happiness to the family. Villagers were pouring into the farmers house to see the one eyed lamb.
