Residents of a village in northern India were on Sunday (July 25) risking their lives to use a bridge that was destroyed earlier in the day by a deadly landslide.

Footage showed two people crossing a fast-flowing river on the mangled structure of the iron bridge in Batseri Village in the Sangla valley of Himachal Pradesh.

Nine people were killed in the landslide on Sunday and three others were injured.

A heavy landslide in Batseri village in Kinnaur Sangla valley had totally destroyed the iron bridge connecting the village from rest of Kinnaur .
In the video the iron bridge can be seen collpased , yet people from batseri village are risking their lives and crossing using the collapsed bridge .
The Landslide which took place today afternoon collpased the bridge in seconds , in the incident 9 tourists killed
Yesterday also a small landslide happened at the same place , though there was no damage due to it
