Dramatic footage shows giant boulders tearing down a mountainside in northern India on July 25 destroying a bridge.

The exclusive HD footage captured in Batseri village in the Sangla Valley of Himachal Pradesh shows the filmer taking refuge as he realises the size of the rocks hurtling towards him.

Moments later an iron bridge takes a direct hit and is sent crashing into the river below.

At least nine people were killed in the disaster and three injured.

There was a huge Landslide in Batseri village of Sangla Valley in Himachal Pradesh Kinnaur district on 25th June , Killing 9 tourists and injuring 3 .
The Deadly Landslide happened around 1 PM in the afternoon hours , Sagar who was posted there as a project Engineer witnessed the horrible landslide , narrates that i just returned from the site with other workers for lunch when he heard people shouting , I immediately went towards the window and saw huge rocks coming down from mountains , I rushed to grab my phone and started recording , the landslide was so strong that some rocks even came towards our balcony room damaging windows .
One of the landslide rock was so strong and heavy that when it hit a Iron bridge there , the bridge collapsed in a second . This bridge was the way to connect Batseri village from others , electric polls got damaged and tourists car also got damaged .
Yesterday (24th July) also there was a small landslide here , but it didn't caused any damage
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced an ex gratia of Rs 2 lakh each for the next of the kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured.
