Residents in China rush into river to rescue motorist trapped in overturned car
Dozens of residents rescued a motorist trapped in a car that had flipped over in a river in northwestern China.
The heroic video, filmed in the city of Lanzhou in Gansu Province on July 24, shows residents sliding into a river via a slope one-by-one and then lifting up a car together to free a motorist trapped in it.
According to reports, the SUV fell into the river and the motorist got trapped inside the vehicle.
Fortunately, the motorist was rescued successfully and she only suffered minor scratches.
The case is under further investigation.
