A meteor burned up in the skies above Norway on Sunday (July 25).

CCTV footage on the home of Harald Aarvig in Amot captured the ball of light tearing across the night sky and then exploding.

"A large meteor fell down in Norway around 1:08 AM on July 25. It happened between Rena and Trysil, close to the Osensjøen lake," said Aarvig.

'The sky above Amot, Furutangen, Norway lit up shortly after midnight on July 25, 2021, thanks to a meteor explosion.

This marvelous scene was caught on a security camera attached to Harald Aarvig's place.

When asked about the meteor sighting, Harald told us: "A large meteor fell down in Norway around 1:08 AM on July 25. It happened between Rena and Trysil, close to the Osensjøen lake."

The filmer posted this stunning footage on his Twitter profile and in just one day, it was viewed more than 1,000 times.
