A woman so moved by Prince Philips's funeral she painted a "pretty awful" portrait and sent it to the Queen was delighted to get a touching personalised letter back from Buckingham Palace.

Honor Morrison, 23, spent four hours painting Duke of Edinburgh having seen his face all over the news for days.

She placed the canvas in the living room of her family home in St Albans, Hertfordshire, for the next few weeks but soon found her work of art "creepy".

Honor jokingly suggested on TikTok she would send the portrait to Buckingham Palace if her video received more than 1,000 likes.

Her video went viral so she sent her parcel to The Queen, along with a heartfelt letter of condolence.

Last week Honor received a letter in the post with a Royal Mail ER stamp on envelope.
