Illegal trading has emerged as one of the most formidable challenges in central India's Madhya Pradesh on July 22. The incident took place in Shivpuri.

Visuals feature the officials confiscating the white pickup vehicle from the spot, along with several cases loaded with alcohol bottles, in daylight. In the meantime, they stack all boxes in the office premises and cover them with a sheet as moderate showers prevail in the area while the others witness the incident. Meanwhile, an official discloses the matter to the public to keep them aware.

Acting on a tip-off that a vehicle was transporting illegal liquor from Guna to Gwalior, Excise officer Virendra Singh Dhakad swung into action and constituted a team led by Uni Teertharaj Bharadwaj. After a while, they scanned the vehicle and seized 125 boxes of liquor worth Rs. 9 lakh (USD 12,085), along with the pickup car valued at Rs. 6 lakh (USD 8,058). A case has been registered against the miscreants while only one of them has been arrested as the two managed to escape.
