This is the touching moment a man proposed to his girlfriend of 9 years while on a trip to Cancun in Mexico.

In the clip, which was filmed on June 3, Jorge and Jazmin are posing for photos on a pier when he suddenly gets down on one knee and pops the question.

Jazmin is overwhelmed with emotion and breaks down in tears of joy.

"I'd been waiting for this moment for years, but never did I expect it would actually happen," she said.

"Apparently, he had been planning the proposal since April. I had no clue!" she added.

She added: "We were taking pictures at the pier. When I walked up with Jorge, we began taking pictures, and then he decided to switch sides. I thought we were still taking pictures and then he pops out the ring."

"He was so nervous, I think he forgot to get on one knee but this was a moment I had been waiting for so long that I wanted it to be how I've always imagined it would be. So I pointed down, haha."
