Scorching heat has forced to team up local villagers near a local pond in order to beat the heat until wet spells provides relief from Tuesday.

The dive from a rocky highland straight into the flowing stream as Kashmir sees no dearth of natural streams due to the hills.

Unable to afford luxuries like swimming pool facility, the natural streams are the only source that provides them relief during scorching summer days.

While lower part of India is reeling under monsoon and floods, Kashmir is yet to witness a wet spell.

The Met had predicted rains from Wednesday which brought relief to the Kashmiri locals, but before that the natural streams worked well for them to provide a temporary relief.
