Madura and Dozens of Rented Houses Burned In West Jakarta, Indonesia
Fires hit two Madura stalls and several rented houses in the Kamal area, Kalideres, West Jakarta. The total loss due to the incident is estimated to be more than IDR 1 billion.
Head of West Jakarta Fire and Rescue Operations Section (Gulkarmat) Eko Sumarno said the fire occurred on Saturday (31/7/2021) at around 21:10 WIB.
A total of 14 firefighters with 70 personnel were deployed to extinguish the fire. Meanwhile, the new fire was successfully extinguished around 00.20 WIB.
There were no casualties in this fire incident. The burned area is approximately 600 meters
Although there were no victims, the total loss due to the fire is estimated at IDR 1.7 billion.
What caught fire were two shanty shops and 9 rented houses. In total there are approximately 11 families affected,
