Unexpected sudden tide phenomenon and big waves swept beach full of people in a blink of an eye - Surprise bathers run to collect things and umbrellas that have been swept away by the waves when all of a sudden the sea came up to 10 meters to the mainland. Families with small children as well as beach bar customers were found in the water all of a sudden while other bathers rushed out of the sea. The sudden tide phenomenon took place at Potamos beach in Epanomi, Thessaloniki on the afternoon of Thursday, July 29, 2021.
