An anti-lockdown protest was held in Berlin on Sunday although protests are banned amid the COVID19 pandemic. Around 5,000 of people joined the rally.

During the demonstration, the tension between demonstrators and the armed police rose, and the riot police were seen deployed irritants and batons. There were about 600 arrests made.
