This particular species of monkey all take turns in raising their infants.

As San Diego zookeeper Joe Milo explains, the Francois' langur all take turns to take care of newborn infants.

This is called alloparenting, where the older monkeys will care for the infants regardless if they are the direct genetic offspring or not.

The Francois' langur infants are also born orange and eventually turns black as they grow older.
