Bizarre moment snake was seen slithering through clear air conditioner pipe
This is the bizarre moment a snake was found slithering through a clear air conditioner pipe in Thailand.
House owner Phatra Yuvaves noticed water overflowing from the living room’s aircon system after arriving home from work in Bangkok on July 19 evening.
She lifted open the lower cover of the air conditioner and found a black cylindrical object inside the clear pipe connector but ignored it, thinking it could be part of the aircon.
However, the next day, the woman’s housekeeper informed her that the black object disappeared until they found it moving inside one of the pipes.
Shocked Phatra said: ‘It looked like it was trying to find a way out of the unit and into my house. It could have been going in and out of the aircon for days.’
The woman immediately called the aircon technician for help as they didn’t know how to remove the snake that appeared to be stuck inside.
When the staff arrived, he carefully took out the parts of the unit until the pipe was exposed and the red-tailed pipe snake was pulled out.
The snake was nonvenomous so the technician placed it in a sack before releasing it into the wild. The aircon was also repaired as the snake had damaged the pipe trying to enter.
