Woman nearly gets crushed beneath moving train in northern India
A passenger's life was hanging by a thread after encountering a life-threatening situation in northern India's Uttar Pradesh on August 3. The incident took place at Prayagraj Rambag railway station.
Visuals feature panic ensuing among the onlookers after the lady slips while boarding the train. She accidentally slides down while hopping on the locomotive and gets stuck in the gap between the compartment and the platform. Luckily, vigilant people and cops rush to her rescue and pull her to safety after halting the coaches.
In a life-saving act, Railway Protection Force (RPF) Head Constables, identified as Kamlesh Kumar Yadav and Anil Kumar Pandey, showed their alertness and informed the guard to stop the train when the lady passenger slid down in the gap. Fortunately, they managed to save her life and were lauded for their efforts.
