Staff at Stanstead airport, UK, helped set up a surprise marriage proposal back in September 2019.

Footage shows Daniel Brown proposing with the help of the airport's staff.

Brown said: "I was with my daughter-in-law (to be) and we had made grand arrangements for this proposal as it had to go with my fiancé’s personality."

Brown revealed that his now-fiancé’, Jennifer Wilson, was expecting him to pop the question during a holiday they both went to. When that didn't happen, she got quite disappointed. Therefore, he had to make up for that with this airport proposal.

He added: "The amazing airport staff fast-tracked us and helped set the scene. The flight announcement threw off the scent for Jenny as to what was about to happen!"

The balloons popped and when Wilson turned around, she saw Brown on one knee, holding out the ring for her.
