Drone footage reveals the devastation caused by wildfires scorching Mangavgat, southern Turkey.

Filmed by Nazim Ozdemir, the video gives viewers a clear look at the trees and properties destroyed by the forest fires raging across the country's southern coastline.

Ozdemir commented: "So, this is what the fire left behind. It was the biggest fire in the history of Turkey and as a result of several months of severe drought and extremely hot temperatures."

As per the European Forest Fire Information System, the disastrous blazes have so far burned more than 118,789 hectares of land.
