Electric workers use power hoses to clean electrical wiring tens of meters off the ground
Electric workers in Vietnam were filmed using power hoses to clean electrical wiring tens of meters off the ground in this unusual video.
According to the workers, filmed in Daklak on February 3, the hot weather and dust caused the high voltage power lines to become dirty and constantly faulty.
To avoid electrical shocks the workers used deionised water, that is treated to reduce its conductivity and can be used to remove dirt from the lines.
This is a job that requires experience as well as skill and they are people who are not afraid of heights. The workers said that they have to continuously maintain the high voltage power lines every day to ensure the power system is not faulty.
