A video of dad's failure to reposition his daughter's wedding veil has had viewers in stitches and racked up nearly 20 million views on TikTok.

The funny clip, which was caught on camera on July 27 in Hermiston, shows Jenisis Navarrete Campos' veil falling off her head onto the floor.

Dad tries to help but places the wedding garment inelegantly on the top of his daughter's head.

Moments later, one of the bridesmaids repositions the veil and dad gives a hilarious nod as he realises his error.

"I felt my veil fell off but I was so nervous and that's why I couldn’t move to get it," said Navarrete Campos.

"My bridesmaids wanted to help me out initially but my dad got to me quicker. However, he messed up a little while putting the veil back on, and one of the bridesmaids had to jump in to save the day!" she added.
