'Speaking about uninvited guests, Jessica Plapp found one in her koi pond on August 3, 2021.

This video, filmed in Mesquite, Nevada, features the filmer documenting her water snake encounter.

Jessica commented: "I was cleaning the skimmer filter of my koi pond when, all of a sudden, a snake popped out of the overflow drain pipe and retreated back inside. Looks like I invaded its privacy?"

She added: "I checked again after a while and it was still there! Luckily, or should I say surprisingly, the snakes living in the pond haven't eaten any fish yet."
