Two men are dead and two others are in hospital following a shooting in downtown Toronto early on Sunday morning (8 August).

The shooting was on Spadina Avenue, near College Street, police said.

All four victims are men, aged between 28 and 43.

Police believe the four men got into an argument, which led to an exchange of gunfire.

Two men were pronounced dead on scene, while the other two were taken to hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
