A bizarre video has emerged of fishermen accidentally catching a shark and pulling it out of the water with their bare hands to remove the hook on Bonita Beach, FL, US.

The footage, shot by a beach goer earlier this month, shows fishermen pulling the tiger shark out of the water after they caught it with their hook.

The fishermen can then be seen removing the hook from the shark's mouth and taking pictures with their catch of the day before releasing it in the water.

"We went to watch the sunset and captured these men catching this Tiger shark where people and Children swim", the filmer later wrote online.
