66-year-old wrestler trains youngsters in southern India

Giving out lessons since 1985, this elderly wrestler inspired several in southern India's Telangana. Visuals shot on August 5 feature the man wishing the best for his students and training them in Hyderabad.

The wrestler following a strict routine along with his students and encourages them to follow a healthy lifestyle, do jogging, etc. He trains them for the upcoming matches with the required equipment and makes them learn new tactics to defeat the opponent.

The 66-year-old wrestler, identified as Meet Mohammed Ajmer, has been practicing since the age of 16 and training the next generation with the hope to pass on his learnings. He has been giving lessons since 1985 and participated in several matches across the city but never got the chance to represent his state at the national level.

He follows a very strict routine and diet to maintain his physique and trains his students to follow the same. He coaches at Mohammadia Taleem in the Golconda Fort Area, where he stays with his family of six. Moreover, he has been seeking financial support from the government for training purposes as he has no other income and charges minimal fees from his students.
