A landslide in Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh, has killed two people and more than 40 are feared to be buried in the debris.

Footage from August 11 shows officials beginning search and rescue operations on the Reckong Peo-Shimla Highway.

The landslide crashed down to a passing bus. The drive, the conductor and eight passengers were rescued.

The landslide occurred on the Reckong Peo-Shimla Highway in Kinnaur around 11:50 am today. Ten people, including the bus driver and conductor, have been rescued from the landslide site near the Nugulsari area.

Teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and the local police are present at the spot and carrying out the rescue operation,
