Terrifying moment ship rolls more than 30 degrees side-to-side in East China Sea
This is the terrifying moment a cargo ship rolled dramatically while sailing in the East China Sea in July.
The clinometer, which measures the degree of tilt, shows the vessel swinging by more than 30 degrees to each side.
The degree of rocking in seas which are rough but not extremely so, suggests the ship was not fully loaded when it got hit by a wave from the side.
Fortunately, the boat survived the terrifying swaying.
