A couple of onlookers were left amused after they spotted a seagull chasing a bouncy ball around a car park in Cumbria, UK.

The bird is seen repeatedly picking up and dropping the ball onto the concrete before running after it.

The filmer told Newsflare: "He tries to pick it up several times but when he flies he seems to struggle.

"One attempt the ball falls out of his mount as he takes off and it bounces up and hits him.

"Eventually, the ball blows away and he takes off after it, only to be then distracted by a long piece of cardboard.

"Sadly a car drives by and scares him."
