The city of São Paulo will have 34 hours of uninterrupted vaccination, next weekend (14 and 15), to immunize young people between 18 and 21 years of age against Covid-19. The Virada da Vacina Sampa starts on Saturday (14), at 7 am, and ends on Sunday (15), at 5 pm, in the municipality's vaccination network. The announcement was made on Wednesday, by Mayor Ricardo Nunes and the municipal secretary of Health, Edson Aparecido, during vaccination at the drive-thru of the Court of Accounts of the Municipality (TCM).

The turnaround will take place in two stages. On Saturday, people aged 20 and 21 can get vaccinated, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. From 7:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Sunday, immunization will also be open to the public from 18 to 21 years old. In all, 600 thousand people are expected in the two days.
To serve the population from 7:00 pm on Saturday to 7:00 am on Sunday*, there will be 16 stations in operation (11 drive-thrus and five mega stations). The Brazilian Army Police provides pre-service and helps people to get the vaccine.
