Illegal trading has emerged as one of the most formidable challenges for several months in southern India's Andhra Pradesh on August 14. The incident took place at the Panchalingala state border check post in Kurnool.

Visuals feature the cops confiscating a consignment of gold from the possession of a miscreant from the bus. They further assemble all the items like bangles, earrings, necklaces, and rings on the counter to keep a check on them while investigating the matter.

During the routine check of vehicles at the Panchalingala Check Post, the Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) sleuths scanned a Road Transport Corporation (RTC) bus after receiving a command from District Superintendent of Police Sudhir Kumar Reddy and SEB Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Tohin Sinha. The officials further seized 1.447 kg (3.19 lbs) of gold from Mustaq Ali, a clerk at Prakash Jewelers shop in Kurnool.

On further interrogation, he confessed that he bought the gold ornaments from Himayat Nagar Vinati Jewelers in Hyderabad and was bringing them to Prakash Jewelers shop. Unfortunately, due to the lack of any bill, all the items were seized and handed over to the Kurnool Police Station for further investigation. Furthermore, the team included Sub-Inspector (SI) Ramesh Kumar, Head Constables Khaza and Raja Shekhar, Constables Nagraj, Srinivasan, Venkata Ramana Manohar, and Ramakrishna.
