Illegal trading has emerged as one of the most formidable challenges in southern India's Andhra Pradesh on August 12. The incident took place in the East Godavari district.

Visuals feature the police officials tracking down a huge consignment of illegal liquor in the broad daylight, following which they seize all the items and bring them down to the police station. The officials further assemble the cases in a row while a senior official discloses the matter to keep the public aware of such instances.

Alamuru Sub-Inspector, S Sivaprasad, and his team were inspecting the embankment from Jonnada to Yanam as part of a routine inspection and recovered 40 boxes full of liquor from an Innova that was smuggled from Goa and seized all the items. A case has been registered against Kovvuri Prabhakar Reddy while the driver has been remanded.
