Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya said that the poor and farmers have faced many problems during the Corona period. The needy has been helped in every way by the government. Under the Annapurna festival, the work of giving 5 kg of food per person for free has been done, which is a commendable step at this time.There are one lakh 22 thousand 662 card holders in the district, under which there are 5 lakh 66 thousand 201 beneficiary persons, who will be distributed food through 451 depots under the two-day Annapurna festival.Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya was speaking as the chief guest at the district level program at village Khurana under Annapurna Mahotsav. On this occasion, he distributed food grains to the poor beneficiaries of the village. In his address, he said that the government has done the work of providing free food, which is a commendable effort. Due to the global pandemic Corona, continuous work is being done by the government and administration for the needy.
