A herd of jumbos happily grazed their time away in a field in Sri Lanka's Western Province on August 17. The incident took place in the Adiyagala region of the Gampaha district.

Visuals feature a massive herd of elephants resting in the middle of the forest cover. The group, including infants, spread across the clearing and munch on the greens. They continue grazing in the scenic setting while a few herd members playfully engage with one another.

The elephants in the region are known for straying off their corridors to look for subsistence. They often stray towards the forest or the village, making the locals familiar with such incidents.
