Footbridge at Santo Amaro do Metrô station in São Paulo, Brazil fell on Tuesday afternoon, August 17th. Workers of a Metro construction site performed maintenance on the structure at the time of the fall, and the Fire Department reported that the fall was caused by a break in the metal structure. The metallic walkway fell into the Pinheiros river. Two victims were injured, but their injuries were minor, according to the São Paulo State Military Police Fire Department.
