Firefighters rescued an elderly woman hanging from a first-floor window in eastern China.

The heroic video, filmed in the city of Jinan in Shandong Province on August 17, shows a 102-year-old woman getting trapped in window's security bars.

A man was seen holding the elderly woman from the roof and neighbours held a quilt under the building to try to catch her.

Police used bedsheets and belts to fix the elderly woman onto the bars to wait for the firefighters.

After the firefighters arrived, they climbed onto the building via a ladder and brought the elderly woman back to safety.

The elderly woman is in stable condition and is resting at home.

8月17日下午2时许，山东济南郎茂山小区四区居民楼一名年龄为102岁的高龄老人被一楼防盗窗位置卡住。一位热心群众上班路过时发现老人被困，于是拨打电话进行求助。110民警利用床单、腰带将老人固定在防盗窗上，下方热心群众自发组织、用被子搭建的简易“救生垫。消防员到达后根据现场情况立即实施救援，最终，经过一番紧张的救援，消防员成功将老人营救至安全区域。
老人的儿子程先生说，母亲已经102岁了，记忆力不太好，自己兄弟姐妹们轮流陪母亲住在这里，当天天中午，自己的弟弟正在屋里午休，没想到的事情突然发生。
程先生的弟弟说，自己知道母亲爬出窗户，赶忙也跟着爬出去，从房顶抓住母亲，而楼下的邻居也早就抓住了老人的腿，这样老人才没有掉下来，其他邻居以及过路居民，都赶过来帮忙，也有人紧急拨打了110 120，并提前在楼下撑起了床单，防备老人意外坠落。
现在老人状态比较稳定，正在家中休息。（视频由山东台提供）
