Hurricane Grace brought heavy rains and strong winds on Mexico's Yucatan peninsula early morning Thursday, August 19 ahead of the expected landfall.
Grace intensified from tropical storm to hurricane status after hammering Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.
It made landfall before 5 am near the Tulum temples in Cancun.
