Terminals A, B, and C of John Wayne Airport were evacuated as a precaution due to a security incident on Friday evening, August 20.

The main terminals were not affected. Some passengers were stranded inside airplanes and the airport's departures were put on hold during the incident.

This video shows the cabin of an aircraft stranded for more than 90 minutes on the tarmac as the security threat disrupted departures and arrivals at the airport.
