Residents rushed to get the vaccines a day before the scheduled lockdown. They were allegedly told that they wouldn’t be allowed to go out if they were unvaccinated.

The Philippines imposed one of the longest lockdowns in the world as the country recorded a high rate of infections.

The residents were allegedly told that they wouldn’t be allowed to go out during the lockdown if they were unvaccinated.

Due to insufficient supplies, the planned vaccination was reportedly cancelled later on as well as due to violations of social distancing rules.

The Philippines imposed one of the longest-running lockdowns in the world but it has also recorded one of the most infections in Southeast Asia.
