'Sky Turns Apocalyptic Orange in Vernon, B.C Amid White Rock Lake Fire '
'Intense footage recorded at Rocky Ridge Park shows the orange hue blanketing Vernon, B.C.
"I took this video on August 15, 2021, at 6:15 PM," the filmer, Melanie Adair shared. "The orange hue is from the White Rock Lake Fire that is burning in the Okanagan Interior. The fire has consumed more than 64,000 hectares and is considered out of control at the moment."
According to the filmer, the skies in Vernon went from blue to apocalyptic orange in just 30 minutes.
